My target for this year is to produce a pretty good clone of Hopbacks Summer lightening, my first attempt was using a malt extract which has come out a little dark. Anyway I would be interested in a critique of this and also a comparison of those that have managed this either AG or extract. Who's up for it?

This is only my 2nd AG, so any criticism WILL be taken personally.

I would love to try an AG of some sort of Stout, but anything at the end of the day.

Hi all. I don't have any AG on offer as I don't do it. Haven't got the time nor the space for it. I only brew kits. This is my first time offering a brew so go easy.

I have on offer some Fixby Gold which is nearly 6 weeks conditioned and I think tastes good. Perfect for this time of year. Unfortunately I only have it in 500ml glass bottles. I can post if you'd like but a more local meet might be easier on the pocket? I'm not fussed either way.

I don't mind what I get in return, just ...

Only one on offer I'm afraid as only had 1 PET free, unless someone wants to trail over for a glass one.
It's my first forray into AG, and very happy with the results. Won't describe what I think so I don't sway the tasting notes.
PM me, first come, first served! Let me know what you have on offer to swap with, anything considered really (except lager!)

i think its a great idea to exchange brews and get other peoples idea's about them , and to try other peoples beers to see what you think about their's aswell,

but how does one go about it ?

1 x 500ml pet bottle would be the norm ???

i would presume the receiver will just keep pet bottle as he/she would be sending one off themselves, ??

just so i know what the etiquette is,
